Sneak peak at upcoming posts! Yes I have been very behind in writing. Between holidays and other events I have been waylaid a bit. But I have been working on a several part series behind the scenes. Today I went on a tour organized by the California Rangeland Conservation Coalition on areas burned by the Rim Fire. There were several wonderful speakers from a variety of organizations and interests. A lot of fun, a beautiful day and a lot of good information. In the last couple months I’ve also interviewed a couple people in regards to fires in California. The short answer is they are not all bad, in many ways a necessary component to a healthy forest. But more on that in the next week!
